Well, first I looked over the Versa. It was nice. Seemed comfy for the couple of minutes I sat (didn't test drive.) But it didn't have the audio features and I wasn't quite ready to buy anyway (waiting for tax return.)

Then I went to the Toyota/Kia dealer... they had a sales event going on... *pushy* sales woman, tried to put me into a used corolla then a used Honda civic, then .. etc etc etc until I finally just said "Look, I'm not buying today. And I'm not buying used. I don't want someone else's car, I want *my* car. I'm just here to look at the Rio and get a feel for it." So she got a 2009 Rio5, and I liked it, and they wanted to do a rebate as down payment, and have me drive it home today. Did I mention she was *PUSHY*? Anyway, took it out for a test drive, and I felt like a giant crammed into a shoe box. Test drive lasted all of 2 blocks. So then she tried to have her manager show me some cars... I bowed out and went across the street to Honda.

At Honda, the sales guy was awesome. No pressure. He knew that I knew what I wanted, and what I wanted to learn. He let me look over the Fit, sit in it, play with the audio, etc. I liked it. Decided to let him run the credit report, just to get a ballpark of financing, etc. Took it for a test spin, plugged in my own USB stick for tuneage, took it on the Interstate, had a lot of fun driving it. He made an offer .. I decided maybe I didn't need to wait for a downpayment... So, while I didn't get a black car like I wanted ... I love the color of this .. "Blackberry" almost as good as black, maybe better, due to the slight deep purpleish/blueish tint...

And I now have a 2010 Honda Fit parked in my driveway!!!!!!!
